Jack is Bothered...

There are many things that bother Jack (and all babies I’m sure); many of which I do not understand.  Just imagine being so lucky as to have someone give you a little cuddle and tuck you into your cozy bed in the middle of the day when you are feeling a bit grumpy...amazing.

Other things that bother Jack:

• Getting his face wiped after eating - come on Jack, no one wants to be the dirty kid...seriously, what is the big deal!?!
• Sleeves - specifically getting those sticky fingers in them
• Diaper changes – Chris and I have developed new techniques which involve changes while rolling, crawling, and standing
• Towel drying after a bath - again while rolling, crawling, and standing
• Getting into the car seat – seriously, every time
• Getting strapped into the high chair

 

My conclusion; this kid is crazy, anything that he cannot do on his own or is in some way restraining drives him nuts. 

On the bright side and really more importantly, what does not bother Jack are all of the fun things – dancing, walks, music, playing, eating, bath time....

I think I’ll keep him.  

Standing is the New Black

Move over fashonistas and all other fall 2010 trends, there is a new craze hitting streets and it is called standing.  It’s the only cool thing to do right now and if you’re not doing it you are missing out BIG TIME.

The best part?  You can do it anywhere at any time (*note from jack: try it at night in your crib, add a little bounce if you’re up for it).

Rule # 5

Never leave yogurt at arm’s reach when chatting on the phone to Auntie Carly...(while also violating rule #2 – Never trust a quiet baby)
